Elect Don and Dona For SAC Annual Fiesta Set May 14 Esther Valles and Clemente Mendes were named Santa Ana College Don and Dona for the Spanish Fiesta to be held May 14 on the college campus. Election of the candidates took place Friday. Festivities will open May 14 with a breakfast and assembly, when the Don and Dona will be crowned. Thomas H. Glenn, chairman of the English department and an advisor for the Fiesta since founding of the tradition 25 years ago, and Bob Bradley, assembly commissioner, are arranging the breakfast program. Maureen Holthe, chairman of the lunch committee and Bob La Porte, games chairman, are cooperating on mid-day program. The downtown parade of decorated floats will be in charge of Smiley. Student President Bill Grant is heading up the committee on the kangaroo court for students not complying with the "bears and pig-tails" edict for Fiesta. Virginia Webster is handling the sale of booster buttons. Other features include an afternoon baseball game with Fullerton at Memorial Park and the evening presentation of "Finian's Rainbow" by drama and music students in the high school auditorium. A dance in the Student Union from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. will conclude the day-long program. Bible College Sets Open House Friday The Southern California Bible College, now in its fourth year at the Costa Mesa campus will celebrate annual open house and missionary day on Friday, May 7. Classes and dormitories will be open to the public during the entire course of the day, and, all visitors will receive a cordial welcome from student guides, who will conduct them on a tour of the campus. The main feature of the evening program, slated for 7:00 p.m., is a true missionary story, written, produced and directed by the students themselves, entitled, "Lovest Thou Me?" and portraying the life and death of Oren Munger, missionary to Central America. Immediately following the play the various prayer bands will open their booths with the presentation of the challenging need of the field which they represent. Watters, curator, at the club meeting yesterday, included the new Art group each Thursday at 1 p.m. in the clubhouse with Mrs. Cosmo Wise instructing. Paintings done by the section members since its inception were displayed at the meeting in the art corner. Bridge section meetings are slated May 5 and 10 at 1 p.m. with leaders Mrs. L. R. Norgard and Mrs. Carl Thompson in charge. Home and Garden Section meets May 10 at 1:30 p.m. for a program in the home of Mrs. Cortez Hoskins 320 West Alberta St. Glass will be the discussion theme. Tessella section will meet May 10 at 7:45 p.m. in the clubhouse for dessert and contract bridge, Mrs. R. T. Parsons and Mrs. Charles Schmitt leaders. A potluck supper will precede the May 17 meeting of the Toastmas-ters section. It is set for 6:30 p.m. Drama section members will provide the program. Members of the Book and Bible section at the May 24 meeting will have the opportunity of bearing Mrs. H. H. Benjamin of Santa Ana in one of her popular book reviews. If It's News You'll See It In The Bulletin Funeral Notices COCHRAN, Martin R., 36, of 2218 Parton, Santa Ana, who died in an automobile accident at Brawley Sunday will be buried from the Brown Colonial mortuary in Santa Ana Saturday at 2 p.m. with interment at Fairhaven. He was a native of Texas. His family formerly made their home in Anaheim. He leaves his widow, Evelyn; three sons, Jerry, Thomas and Dennis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Cochran; two sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Tucker of Eureka and Mrs. Mildred Byrne of Ontario; brothers, Horace of El Centro, Lawrence, San Diego, and Sam of Santa Ana. Funeral services for Harry Fellinge, 65, of 309 Grand Canal, Newport Beach, who died Sunday in the Hoag Memorial Hospital will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. Fellinge died after an extended illness. He was well known in the Newport Harbor area and in Anaheim and Fullerton. Fellinge had lived in Orange County since 1818 and in Newport Beach since 1930. He was a native of St. Joseph, Mo. Survivors are the widow, Betty, and a son, Lee. At the time of his last illness Fellinge was employed by the Newport Marine Supply Co. and formerly worked in the the Lido Peninsula shipyard. Fellinge was a member of the Orange County Sheriffs Reserve Squadron, the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves and of the Balboa Power Squadron. He was a charter member of the Anaheim Elks and a member of the Authors League of America.
