Women carrie lou authorland – editor Details of Ferguson-Simmons Wedding In Flamingo Chapel at Las Vegas Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons,nee Louise Ferguson, are announcing the details of their marriage at Las Vegas on Sept. 30. Red Cross clubmobile units similar to those which operated in World War II will serve U.S. security forces in Korea, he continued, providing supplemental recreational and leisure time activities, exclusive of meals and bikes, for able-bodied U.S. troops in isolated outposts where military special services and community resources are limited. Those eligible to be eligible to work with the clubbobiles, women must be between 25 and 80 years of age, with college training or general education, music, speech or art. The salary scale will be determined according to background and experience. In addition, the Red Cross pays maintenance and travel all of its overseas personnel, according to Thompson. Walter Wallbank will speak before the Anaheim High school forum Monday night, Oct. 12. Dr. Wallbank is widely known as a popular and challenging speaker on world affairs and current problems before forum meetings. A lecturer in frequent demand, he brings to big audiences the facts of a scholar, yet refined and humanized for quick and clear comprehension. As an author of note Dr. Wallback has written widely used history of civilization used in American schools and universities. All forum meetings are held in the Anaheim Union High school auditorium on Monday nights at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. There is no admission charge. Changing Trends CJCSA Discussion Problems of student government and changing trends on college campuses will be discussed in three conferences of the California Junior College Student Government Association. It was disclosed today by Russ Patterson, student president at Santa Ana College. The first conference in Thursday at Palmerton Junior College, from 9 p.m., primarily for members of the Eastern Junior College conference. Another set for Oct. 20 at Santa Maria for all Southern California junior colleges. The final session on Nov. 18, 20, and 21 will be at Ashmar on a statewide basis. Topics will include problems of the women students, men students, social functions, school function school publications, school spirit, student finances and assemblies. Working with Patterson on the Den Executive Board are Ron Gorman, Virginia Webster, Bob Sutterer, Renald Burkhart, Bob Bradley, Jeanne Lanaster, Bob Darin, Bob LaPorte, Judy McKin and Gersten Hegel. The songleaders are Virginia Webster, Judy Cole and Barbara Bagerly. Nan Morales, of Anaheim and Jenette Prather, of Tustin will be baton twirlers for music marching groups, aided by little Janice Barger of Santa Ana, who also marched with the SAC bandlast-year. The Singing Hornet's men's ensemble includes tenors, Arthur Cook of Orange, Gary Kusenil of Fullerton, John Ernie and Andy Clay of Anaheim; baritones John Greenville of Garden Grove and Romayne Hawkinson of Fullerton; bassen. Accompanist is Frank Buff of Fullerton. In the Women's Ensemble are Andrea Williams, Orange, Betty Carson and Margie Weber, Fullerton, and Mary Lynne Elliott of Orange soprano; Beverly Covlin of Whittier, Barbara Ojeda of Tustin, Eva Stanaway of Whittier, and Theo Dwinnell of Fullerton. Their accompanist is Nancy Kerlen of Bellflower. Both the Singing Hornet and the Women's Ensemble will have a full schedule of appearances for service clubs, women's clubs, and other organizations during the year, said Helvey. They also participate in college assemblies. A number of joint appearances are usually scheduled, too. The two group joined, become a "swing choir."
