Square Dance Classes Open at Fremont Monday Night
A class for beginners in square dancing was started last Monday evening under the Anaheim Community Recreation department. It will meet every Monday evening at 7:30 in the Fremont Junior High School gym, south side of West Center St.
"Those who have never square danced, or who may have danced some time ago and dropped out, or those who may have squared danced in other parts of the country will find this a good place to learn the California style," says Don Frisbee of Yorba Linda, experiences square dance caller and instructor, in charge of the group.
Everyone, over high school age, is invited to attend. For those attending the class for the first time next Monday, no cost will be involved. At subsequent weekly meetings, however, a donation will be requested to keep the class on a self-supporting basis. The class will be closed as soon as enrollment reaches the capacity of the hall or after the third meeting.
