Orange Coast College Holds Pre-registration "All students who plan to enter Orange Coast College this fall should complete pre-registration as soon as possible." Dr. James W. Thornton, vice-president, stated today. Pre-registration examinations will be given on September 4 starting at 9 a.m. and will last approximately three hours. All new students who have not done so should plan to take the examination at that time. Dr. Thornton added: If entering students have not consulted with counselors they may do so by reporting to the counseling offices in the administration building. Counselors are on duty from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of Labor Day, September 7. Former students and those high school graduates who have already consulted with counselors and planned programs for the fall semester of the 1953-54 school year are not required to come to the college until September 14, first day of registration, unless they wish to make some change in their programs. Printed class schedules and catalogs are available and may be obtained at the college, Dr. Thornton concluded.
